Rohan Wijesinha

Rohan Wijesinha has served two terms as Hon. General Secretary of the Wildlife & Nature Protection Society (WNPS). He was the Hon. Editor of the Journal of the WNPS, Loris, spanning a period of almost 20 years and is currently a member of the WNPS’s Human – Elephant Conflict Sub- committee. He has served / serves on several Consultative Committees to the Department of Wildlife Conservation (DWC) and Ministry of Wildlife; most notably on the Committee that helped re-draft the National Policy for the Conservation of the Wild Elephant in Sri Lanka that currently awaits ratification by the Cabinet of the Government of Sri Lanka.
